Beware of the pricing! Almost 300 dollars to replace an 8 dollar fill valve! The plumber Jeff was at the house for less then 20 mins total for the job, and billed for 3 hours! Pricing for this job should have been more around 140.00 after doing research. Be more transparent in your pricing upfront! Be careful if you get Jeff at your door step, he's a wolf looking for prey.
What was really nice was that I was given options on both projects as to totally replacing the sump pump or just doing a less expensive repair, with the plumber trying to work with my budget, as opposed to just giving an obviously clueless homeowner the most expensive option knowing I know nothing about plumbing repair.
