Gastropub conveniently located near Quincy Public Library. Choose your four flights of craft beer and pair with gourmet pub grub. I recommend the burgers or steak tips for main. Spicy chicken wings for happy hour appetizer. Sriracha or mango habanero flavor chicken wings taste flavorful and just the right amount of spice. They have their top 10 or 15 craft beers of the day you can choose to order from. Bartender was not helpful for drink suggestions and kitchen order was incorrect twice. Friendly patrons and relaxing atmosphere. Visit here if Fat Cat is busy and you do not want to wait.
The stuff members are nice. Customers are varieties of ages. The relatively cozy bar area was pretty full Sat evening around 6-7pm but not too noisy and good atmosphere. Relaxing and comfortable. Foods are about $9 to $15. I and my boyfriend got Margarita, hummus/guacamole plate and two beers. I was very happy with the amount of hummus and guacamole, and it was delicious! I loved the pizza (lots of tomato, thin craft) too!
Cagney's is exactly the kind of establishment you want in your neighborhood: rotating craft beer, hearty pub food, a space for big groups and parties, solid service, and sports on tv (if you're into that). They have a loyal following and are consistently full throughout the week.
Great Locals Hangout. Owner and staff are friendly. Service is very good. High Top seating only.
